The second wine of Château Rouget, Le Carillon de Rouget 2018, stands out from its elder sibling. This terroir of lighter clays than those of Château Rouget's vines, combined with the relative youth of the vineyard compared to that of the Grand Vin, results in faster grape ripeness and gives Le Carillon de Rouget its characteristic roundness and gourmet character. This 2018 vintage, with its vibrant and intense color, captivates with its expressive fruitiness and the precision of its aromas. The attack on the palate is of great delicacy, followed by beautiful complexity, and the finish expresses a lot of freshness.
